Our Mission
The Mandel Jerusalem Fellows (MJF) is a one-year, residential fellowship program based at the Mandel Leadership Institute. This fellowship is aimed at mid-career professionals with a proven track record in Jewish educational and communal leadership.
Our mission is to invigorate Jewish life around the world by preparing professionals to lead community institutions and direct educational initiatives with vision, commitment, and practical wisdom.
MJF provides Fellows with a rich, supportive environment in which to:
-
Develop a compelling vision of what they are seeking to achieve in the next phase of their careers, along with a strategic plan of how to implement it.
-
Reflect on their professional practice, examining the fundamental assumptions that have informed their work to date.
-
Challenge and refine their conceptions of the goals and methods of contemporary Jewish education, through study with top scholars, policymakers and practitioners from around the world.
Currently no new fellows are being recruited for the Mandel Jerusalem Fellows program.
Mandel Jerusalem Fellows is one of several programs at the Mandel Leadership Institute working to develop a cadre of dynamic leaders equipped to foster educational and social innovation in their communities. To read more about the Mandel Foundation click here.
