The curriculum is divided into several main parts. In the theoretical part, major topics relevant to the areas of activity and working environments of the Jewish Agency today are analyzed and investigated, issues of professional identity are clarified and an effort is made to understand the organization in its changing environment. The course is taught by lecturers from Israel and the entire Jewish world, Jewish Agency people in the past and present, academics and even program fellows themselves on topics pertaining to their area of work. The focus on these subjects and issues forms the basis for learning, discussing, analyzing and writing about visions for the Jewish Agency with intervention on the micro, meso and macro levels. These visions are articulated in position papers in the last section of the course. The topics for these papers are chosen together by the senior management of the Jewish Agency and the program fellows and the papers will be presented at the end of the program to senior staff of the Jewish Agency and the Mandel Leadership Institute.
