Mandel Scholars in Education Program
Registration for the 2012-2013 academic year has ended
The program is designed to help participants complete the writing of their dissertations, to deepen their knowledge of the field of education in Israel and to crystallize their professional identities as educators. The program participants will receive a living stipend of NIS 84,000 total for the year, office facilities at the Mandel Leadership Institute in Jerusalem and a unique program that will include meetings with researchers and practitioners who are active in the field of education in Israel and abroad.
Doctoral students in the Educational Departments of institutions of higher education in Israel who are in the writing stage of their dissertations, after approval of their research proposals and as well as the collection of data, are invited to apply to the program. Suitable applicants will be invited for a personal interview. Finalists will be requested to present a lecture on their research to the Admissions Committee.
